We are delighted to announce the second ECO-HERITAGE Climate Cultural Coffee, an event designed as a two-part journey through nature, landscape and climate change.
This time, we have chosen to bring together experience and reflection: first, an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the landscape; then, a moment to discuss the ways in which nature, territory and climate change are shaping our cities and communities.
🌳 18 October | Experiencing the landscape
We will begin on Sunday, 18 October, with an exclusive guided walk through the former FIAT test tracks in La Mandria, led by Marco Rosso, environmental hiking guide and President of Quattro Passi nel Monferrato.
The walk will take us through the autumn landscape of La Mandria, offering a chance to step away from the familiar and experience the natural environment from within. It will be an opportunity to reconnect with the landscape, its ecological dimension and its relationship with cultural heritage.
📖 19 October | Discussing the landscape
On the following day, Monday, 19 October at 6:00 p.m., we will move from experiencing the landscape to discussing it.
At Palazzo Corbetta Bellini di Lessolo in Turin, we will present Politiche della natura e questione climatica. Semi di cambiamento a Torino, by Luca Battisti and Federico Cuomo.
Luca Battisti is a member of the ECO-HERITAGE project, and his book offers an opportunity to reflect on the transformations taking place in Turin and on the relationship between nature, climate and urban policies.
The authors will discuss the book with Prof. Egidio Dansero and Prof. Marco Deveccchi, with Prof. Davide Gianti as moderator.
📩 Registration for the book presentation is mandatory.
Please register by email at ecoheritage@unito.it by 15 October.
